Despite being the quintessential memory of my childhood, The Lion King has served as one of the main reasons for the strength of my faith. The tattoo, being on my foot and representing my life journey, follows along with the promise spoken in Romans 8 - There is no where I can go, nothing I could do, and no power on earth or in hell that can keep me from the love of my Father, the kingdom is mine forever through Christ.

The last annular solar eclipse was on May 20th, my 18th birthday, so I got this tattoo of its phases. Since the eclipse is physically a transition of the moon in front of the sun, I got it to represent my transition into being an adult. Done at Tinta Cantina in Albuquerque, NM, USA by Val.
